Growing Together in Community

Activities and Events

We offer many activities each month to strengthen our community and allow families to build relationships. Besides the fun events highlighted below, we also have hosted field day, water balloon fights, a family camping weekend, co-op end of the year party, and much more!

Mom's Night Out - once a month we plan an activity for the moms in our group to get together and relax. Some of the things we've done in the past include dinner at a local restaurant, wine tasting, game night, Christmas cookie swap, and a homemade spa night.

Park Days - weekly park days are scheduled as weather permits.

Field Trips - we rely on volunteers within our group to plan outings each month. Some things we've done in the past include nutrition classes, a trolley ride, a landfill tour, laser quest, farm visit, planetarium visit, and a boat tour.

Group Activities - Stafford Homeschoolers members can form small groups to share similar interests. Some examples are:

• Lego and Jewelry Club meets once a month so kids can explore their creative sides!

Minecraft meets one a month at a local library to allow kids to connect on a server and play together.

• Give Back | Pay It Forward is our community service group. We plan events and activities to help our community throughout the year.

• We have new groups forming all the time - everything from Geocaching to Drama Club - whatever your interests are, you can find someone here to share them with!

Back to School Picnic - join us in September to kick off the school year right! We gather at a local park for a pot luck lunch and fun activities for the kids.

Stafford Homeschoolers' Birthday Party - celebrate our community each year as we grow together.
